A severe storm hit northern NJ this weekend, leaving an estimated 200,000 homes and businesses without electrical power. The ComiXpress Offices in Dumont NJ are among those without power, and we apologize for any delays this may cause in our production and shipping schedule as well as Customer Service response. We have been assured that teams are working around the clock to restore power to our area, and we’ll post here as soon as power is restored. (I’m curently posting this remotely with the help of a friend out of state, as my own home was also affected and is without power).

Rest assured, as soon as power is restored, the ComiXpress Team will be back at our desks, working overtime to get everything back on track as quickly as possible.

Just a heads up that Blizzard conditions in parts of the NorthEast (including our New Jersey office) appear to be resulting in potential shipping problems. While our production is on schedule, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by these extreme weather conditions.

The new year is here, and the ComiXpress Crew is back at our stations, fired up and ready to go! (Actually, we’ve been back for two days now, but who’s counting?)

We look back with a fond farewell to 2009. It was a great year, and we’re very excited about what 2010 has in store for all of us – the ComiXpress Team, and all of the Creators, Readers and Retailers we’re so happy to work with.

There’s snow on the ground in New Jersey and Santa is trying to figure out what Graphic Novels can fit into stockings. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, Winter Solstice or just really like sleeping in on those cold gray mornings, everyone here at ComiXpress wishes all of you a happy Holiday Season!

I can’t believe that 2009 is already wrapping up. It’s been a heck of a year, and we’re looking forward to an even better 2010. To our Creators, Readers and Retailers, All the best from all of us!

ComiXpress will be closed for the Holidays from December 24th through January 3rd, and will reopen on Monday January 4th. A small crew of diligent Elves will be on hand during the week to keep production from getting bogged down in tinsel, but Customer Service, PrePress and Billing will not be available until we return.
